MEET CONNOR
Connor Martin is a Wisconsin-based actor, singer, and dancer who strives to deliver versatile performances while being fueled with curiosity, eager to learn more and evolve in his craft.
…Connor has always dreamed of pursuing the performing arts, ever since he directed his first production at kindergarten recess. It was at this same time that he was cast in his very first musical, The Wizard of Oz, at the local community theatre. He may have been one of the smallest munchkins, being the youngest in the cast, but he had one of the biggest smiles from the pure joy being on stage brought him. A few years later, when he was in fourth grade, he was cast as Michael Banks in Mary Poppins at The Fireside Dinner Theatre in Fort Atkinson, WI (his first professional production). Just one year later, he would move to Banner Elk, NC, for the summer to play the title role in Oliver! with Lees McRae Summer Theatre!
After years of being in one production after another, countless voice lessons, and too many one-man shows for his family, he committed to Viterbo University to pursue a BFA in Music Theatre. At Viterbo, Connor has really discovered who he is as an artist!
Some of his other favorite regional credits include touring as a Principal Singer/Dancer with Kids From Wisconsin, where he also taught theatrical workshops to various communities; John Darling in Peter Pan at The Fireside Theatre; Michael Banks in Mary Poppins at The Palace Theater; and a Newsboy in Gypsy with Capitol City Theatre.
